Demand Responsive Transit Service (DRTS) (Reservation required)
Reservation for transportation between Puli and Renai Township is required regardless of weekdays or holidays. For transit details, please refer to the Nan Tou Bus website.

Nan Tou Bus "Aowanda Tour Bus" (reservation required)
During the peak maple season (October to the end of March of the following year), the tour buses run on Saturdays and Sundays. Due to limited seats, reservation is required. For reservation, contact Ms. Lin at 049-2984031 ext. 23. The buses depart from Gancheng Station in Taichung at 7:50, the High Speed Rail Station in Taichung at 8:15, the Puli Transit at 9:15, and arrive at Aowanda at about 10:55. The return trip departs at 3:30 pm from the parking lot next to Aowanda Visitor Center.

Aowanda Forest strategic alliance with the transportation industry for eco-tourism:
To promote the sustainable use of forest resources and enhance the quality of eco-tourism in the National Forest Recreation Area, the Aowanda National Forest Recreation Area seeks ethical transportation operators to jointly promote eco-tourism and provide quality leisure and recreation experience for the public. After undergoing a review process, this Office has selected excellent operators (listed in the following table) who provide legal and safe vehicles that have been in service for less than 10 years. For those with special request regarding the age of the vehicles, please contact the operators.

※Entering from Wushe along District Road Nantou 83, sections of the road are narrow and windy The Nantou County Government has pwt ban on Class A buses. Small and medium sized vehicles are recommended to avoid fines.
